UNHP’s Affordable Housing Webinar and Fundraiser was held on Tuesday, September 22nd from 3:30 pm until 5:30 pm. The webinar was a Bronx-focused look at the issues that have been brought to the forefront in our community during COVID-19. These three recent COVID-19 blog posts, The Struggle to Preserve Affordable Housing, Trends in Bronx Multifamily Finance, and The Deadly Consequences of the Bronx Reality, formed the foundation for the webinar presentation along with updated information on the struggle to preserve mission-driven affordable housing, changes in multifamily buildings sales values, finances and conditions as well as emerging neighborhood needs around health, technology, and financial services. The Webinar, hosted on Enterprise Community Partner’s expanded Zoom meeting platform, offered a presentation by UNHP staff.

The UNHP Affordable Housing webinar was free to attend, thanks to the generosity of Corporate Sponsors and Individual Donors. Thanks to this support, UNHP raised over $70,000 to support our work to create and preserve affordable housing and bring resources to our northwest Bronx community in the coming year.
