Pizza and Beer Raised to a New Standard

by UNHP

UNHP’s 2016 Fundraiser at The Bronx Beer Hall on Wednesday September 14, 2016 was a success on all levels. UNHP’s annual fundraiser was held for the third time at The Bronx Beer Hall located in the center of the historic Arthur Avenue Retail Market. The pizza and beer was raised to a new standard with a variety of locally crafted brews from the Gun Hill Brewery and a gourmet non-stop pizza selection from Zero Otto Nove. Guests also raved about the delicious handmade gelato from Caffe Gelato – the Bacio – dark chocolate hazelnut was the first flavor to run out!

Delicious gourmet pizza from Zero Otto Nove, a token for one free locally crafted beer, and the good company of friends, and community partners were among the highlights of the evening.

Thanks to our many sponsors and individual donors, UNHP was able to raise over $50,000 to support our work to create and preserve affordable housing and bring needed resources to the northwest Bronx. Our custom pint glasses with the names of our sponsors, created by The Bronx Design Group, went home with the event attendees.
