Housing Ambassador UNHP Featured on NY1 and Bronx 12 News Reports about NYC Housing Connect
Both Bronx News12 and NY1 news aired news reports about the NYC online affordable housing lottery, known as Housing Connect. UNHP is featured in both reports for our work as a Housing Ambassador. UNHP Northwest Bronx Resource Center became an HPD Housing Ambassador in 2017 and assists Bronx residents to apply for the lottery if they cannot apply on their own. Housing Connect, NYC Rent Freeze enrollment, Financial Coaching, Free Tax Preparation, First-time Homebuyer, and Eviction Prevention programs are offered at the Resource Center free of charge and by appointment.
