UNHP Multifamily Lender Meeting

UNHP held its annual Multifamily Assistance Center Annual Meeting, focusing on economic and real estate trends and the growing affordable housing crisis in NYC. Presentations were given by Jacob Udell from UNHP, Kim Darga from HPD, and Elizabeth Ginsburg from Enterprise Community Partners.

On March 8th UNHP held its annual Multifamily Assistance Center Annual Meeting at the offices of Enterprise Community Partners, with a focus on economic and real estate trends and the growing affordable housing crisis in NYC. The meeting was attended by 46 individuals representing 27 distinct lending institutions.

UNHP’s Data & Research Coordinator, Jacob Udell provided the first of three presentations offering insight into economic and real estate trends in NYC. Kim Darga, Associate Commissioner at HPD, presented information about the loss of affordable housing stock and the persistence of the affordable housing crisis in New York City. The third presentation on the status of New York Rent Law renewals and proposed reforms was researched and presented by Elizabeth Ginsburg, Senior Officer at Enterprise Community Partners.
