​Years before the housing bubble burst, UNHP reported on the rising prices in the Bronx real estate market, the factors influencing price, and the consequences on affordable housing. The sustained increase in price without a corresponding rise in operating income left our communities vulnerable. UNHP proposed and later created a Multifamily Assistance Center.
