25 Years of Support, Care and Temporary Housing for Women and Children in the Bronx.
Siena House, in the Highbridge section of the Bronx, is marking its 25th anniversary this year and Concourse House, in the Fordham-Bedford neighborhood will turn 25 in 2016. Both “houses” provide safe, transitional homes for homeless women and their children as well as on-site social services, childcare, housing assistance, job training and life-skills support.

UNHP Welcomes First Lehman College Tax Volunteer
The UNHP Free Tax Preparation Program depends on the generosity of our college student volunteers. Students from Fordham University, Manhattan College and Lehman College take a 15 hour on-line training as well as an 8 hour in person training before they begin working with tax filers. Meet Maimouna, one of our 80 student volunteers, who have trained for the UNHP program in 2015.
